Arts in Care Homes Swindon was founded in 2024 and is a non-profit community itiative to unite care home residents in creating large collaborative artworks that inspire connection, creativity, and joy in Swindon communities.
Art That Unites Communities
At Arts in Care Homes Swindon, we engage older adults in care and nursing homes with artistic projects that foster inclusion, community, and enhanced quality of life. Our unique approach supports creativity and companionship through large-scale artworks created together.
2025 Project brought together 18 care homes and 82 artists in one 9 foot artwork made up of individual tiles72 tiles.

Using creativity to promote positive mental health and social connection among elderly residents. Art needs no words and the imagination has no limits.
Large Collaborative Artworks
Producing inspiring, collective murals and pieces that celebrate each participant's contribution. 2026 will bring Swindon's biggest jigsaw to life.
